Contest Entry (75 words)
Chocolate for Charlie
by Debra White
"Happy Birthday, Darling," Claudia murmered happily as she ruffled Charlie's soft, dark curls.
"One today! I think it's time you tried your very first taste of chocolate. You're going to absolutely love it!"
Charlie's eyes widened as his mother knelt in front of him and began to open the tiny packet of buttons.
Just then, his grandmother burst through the door, laden with gifts.
"Oh, Charlie!" she gushed, "Look! Mummy's got your favourite choccies!"
