A love poem
He had a muse
He'd never seen.
A mere dream,
A fantasy.
Made of words
And wrapped
In silk.
She had a lover
Who braided verse
To make a crown
For her head.
But cruel Fate
Kept them apart.
She lived
In the land
Of the velvet sun
And he dwelt
Among the stars.
