A Heart's Song

by Tina Crute

Subjective, a heart's decision
To bend with affection
To another heart
Far greater complicated
Process of selection
For fear of losing
The fight
Breaking.

Desirous still, then a heart's tune
It moves, steps and bends happy
Seeking to capture hope
Of certain reward
It moves forward
Returned love comes
Happiness
Singing!

Consideration stops heart's decision
Pauses make thinkers
Puts a halt to hope
Marching stops
Even to the sweetest tune
The chance too steep
For love
Fearing.

Chances lost and sadness gained
Choice is made
Heart straightens now
No bending affection
It will go without love
Reject risk and stay
Unbroken
Sighing.

There is much to consider before giving your heart to another.Only your own heart can decide if it is worth the risk to fall in love. You can walk away, or bend toward a chance of happiness!
I purposely left out most punctuation and used short phrasing to show how a mind jumps around while thinking on emotional issues.
