A marine to the end

My darling you're the true man God created
You had the strength of a lion
A tender soft heart of a lamb
Respected all mankind even
when they didn't respect you

Yes you had that warning Marine eyes
With a lines for every sweet ladies.
You said "A man can only goes
As far as a women let them."

You met the one and only "Miss Cookie"
Who became your only chocolate fine Cookie
He always refusing to celebrated these Veteran Day
He said I only thing I cerebrate

That the Jape helped me to get disability
I thought that was cold
Then again war makes a man cold
Seeing the pain in his eyes I held back my tears.

War was never spoken giving him his space
We're blessed to have twenty-two years
weathering through the good and bad
He never told me how sick he was.

One day he called from the hospital saying
"MAMA ( That is what he called me) I will love you fore ever,I'm Dyeing"
I just saw the day before he looked wonderful
Of course I laughed it off saying
"Marines don't Die they just fad away.
That evening the doctor call and said.......
