Blind Hearted

by Beri Bee

I saw a filthy loser,
but I really didn't see.

I saw a dead man's widow,
but I actually didn't see.

I saw a man's suicide,
but I truly didn't see.

I was blind entirely
until it happened to me;

and, although I'm quite dead now,
here, at least, at last, I see.
