Quell the riot

by judester

So much noise, too many views,
my head is spinning 'round.
On days like this, I slink away,
sanctuary bound.

Scented bubbles, Chardonnay,
candles in a row.
I sink into the silky foam,
add water with my toe.

Soaking in the bathtub,
disbands the cerebral riot.
I take a breath, blow it out
and contemplate the quiet.
