A symbol
There it sits,
Or does it stand?
The little blue vase
With the five bamboo stalks.
I bought it for myself,
But don't they say
It's a good luck gift?
That must be the reason why
You didn't get it for me.
Because you knew
You were going to leave.
After all,
You had a wife and kids
Waiting for you at home.
Kids you'd never
Abandon for me,
You told me one day
While we rode the train
Late into the night.
