A Poem

by Dolly'sPoems

I see the record of my life
in photos of the past,
and join those long lost relatives,
another didn’t last.

Was that our Auntie Evelyn there,
with uncle Bill and Jim,
a long lost memory in time,
in albums stay within.

As time will forge forever on,
no time to stop and think,
the past is just our history,
in photographs we shrink.

So whilst I can still take in breath,
I’ll burn the midnight oil,
and write about adventures here
before I’m under soil.
