Beauty can always be seen even when dreary and cloudy.

Bouganvillea and Palm Captivate

Overcast morning in southwest Florida
Clouds of gray indicating a dismal sky
Crimson pink Bougainvillea landscape
Outshines the day as palm stands high

Another stroll about Lake Loop Road
Bougainvillea hypnotizes the passerby
Eyes are drawn to this dazzling beauty
Palm leaves flow in the wind with pride

How can it be that something so gloomy
May well be surpassed with such a glow
As lustrous crimson pink Bougainvillea
Maybe only the Master's hand may know
