The indian wars in wil west

Feathered warriors

by bournemouth

Geronimo and Cochise
Were sitting
On their wounded knees
In the sunrise
And trying
To foresee
What can be seen
On the mountain green.
A tomahawk
In his hand
A black hawk
On the land,
The feathered warrior
Finished his dance
To a trance,
He looked at the Indian ridge
After the bridge,
And then after
Indian summer.
