Fabulous Free Verse club entry
Leaves Flutter To The Ground
Sitting in my living room
looking out the window
seeing bright gold leaves
falling from pecan trees.
As the leaves are fluttering
to the leaf covered ground
creating even thicker carpets
where children happily
frolic and play, jumping
up and down on crunchy
leaves that have fallen
to the ground of autumn.
