I went for walk recently through our city's historic Northern Cemetery... a walk through the lives of our forefathers and those early settlers who made our history. The inscriptions told so many stories of often-difficult lives, with harsh conditions and tragedy. Nowadays, the pervading sense is one of peace among the avenues of headstones, even though some are toppled and broken.
