A Sonnet

Green Envy cuts Deep

by Dolly'sPoems

When jealousy can work its evil deed,
and permeate in juxtaposed position;
it seeps into the veins to then impede,
as seething rises up in competition.

The wickedness of jealousy unleashed,
can thwart with ruthlessness and nasty spite,
and those accused are certainly impeached,
no clock can turn back time to put it right.

And when the green infusion takes a hold,
the mix can poison with intoxication,
as bitterness infuses words so bold
with envy in a vile ramification.

So if a vicious thought is given life,
a bloody war will deepen from the knife.

Envy, one of the seven deadly sins.
