Greasy foods can slow blood to heart.

Is what you're eating, eating you?

by Liberty Justice

Is what you're eating, eating you?
Are greasy foods on your menu?
You eat salty, spicy foods, too?
Is your heart beating so fast, too?

Is what you're eating, eating you?
Arteries clog if filled with grease.
Heart pumps much harder to release.
Heart needs fresh blood to flow for you.

Is what you're eating, eating you?
Heavy drinker, drinking it straight?
Sucking greasy meats off your plate.
Over weight--good diet for you.

Is what you're eating, eating you?
Pill popper or heavy doper?
Cigar or cigarette smoker?
Strokes or heart attacks might be due.

Is what you're eating, eating you?
Cancer eats your body cells, too.
Can spread everywhere, eating you!
Dump bad habits what you can do.

Writing Prompt
A kyrielle is made of quatrains that rhyme. Each stanza (that is a quatrain) has a line that repeats, so a line from a previous stanza. That line usually (but does not necessarily have to) be the last line in the stanza. Each line in the poem has eight syllables. There is no limit to the number of stanzas. Usually there are three or more stanzas. Any type of rhyme scheme can be used. More information and an example.

Pays one point and 2 member cents.
