Will you Get a Tattoo?

I have no desire to get a tattoo, but if you have one or like them that is fine, this not against tattoos.
My brother got one in the Navy. It was the Roadrunner. It hurt so bad he made the guy quit with just the eyes and beak done. He made himself go back and get it finished because it looked so bad. He had it removed a few years later, while still in the Navy, because he thought it was stretched out of shape. They used skin grafts, you should see the scar, it is horrible, he should have left the tattoo. They took the graft from his thigh and he has two white rectangles that never tan.
We found out just last year that he told his daughter that he got the scar saving a pilot who crashed on the ship. He was a navigator on an aircraft carrier. She wrote a report for school and the teacher wanted him to come so she could meet him and he could maybe talk to the kids. He had to confess he had lied. But he still didn't tell the truth, he told her he burned it on a hot pipe on the ship. What is wrong with him?! We told her the story, not knowing he had lied about it. Bonehead.
