Diatelle poetry

Moonbeams

by Sugarray77

bright
moonbeams
gather dreams
in silver sleigh
drawn by fine prancing teams
of horses fed on stardust hay
taken to Venus and kept far away
til the time you need them back for a sleepless night
returned, wrapped in the drowsy Milky Way
your mind's imaginary play
sleepy fanciful schemes
when starlit ray
sends wind streams
sleep seems
light
