Upon That Hill

by Dawn of Tomorrow

A lighthouse on a lonely hill shines bright,
it guides the wayward drifter through the night.
Provides a shelter there, for all who seek;
for injured ones, the scarred and gravely weak.

It shines through murky storms, through ghastly haze,
and leads the lost, destroys a binding daze.
It beckons "Come". Why would you turn away?
There's rest upon the shore, for this you prayed.

So faint from struggling through this wretched sea,
at times I cried to God, I'd beg and plea.
Then, just in time, the Light appeared; was seen.
It led me from the dark, brought the serene.

I know that lighthouse has a holy name.
Messiah, King of Kings, the ever flame.
