A rhymed poem
Opposites
by Debra White
As opposite as here and there - One daughter's dark, the other's fair. As opposite as low and high - One's brave and bold, the other's shy. As opposite as chalk and cheese - One doesn't care, one aims to please. As opposite as far and near - One dives straight in and one feels fear. As opposite as thin and fat - These girls will fight like dog and cat. As opposite as night and day - Each has to have the final say. As opposite as white and black - They've always got each others' back. As opposite as bright and dull - For each of them my heart is full. As opposite as wild and tame - My gorgeous girls are loved the same. |
