Stupid Cupid!

Valentine Poem Contest Winner 

    Shot through a quite reluctant heart
    This arrow plainly missed its mark
    Unless the little cherub’s aim
    Purely had meant to play a game
    It’s clear as glass that you and I
    Differ too much to justify
 
    Cooperation much less love
    Unmatched we are, like hawk and dove
    Please tell me that this can’t be true
    Illogically, I’m drawn to you...
    Don’t laugh, ‘cuz look...he got you too!
