Sing a Song of Life

Sing a song of life

as it flows through everything

sweet and sour tones


the tune starts early

nestled in your mother's womb;

she hums and sings melodies

you are comforted


then it's time to leave

the safety of that cocoon

wailing, cold and scared!


as you learn and grow,

your melodies gain flavor

and you find your range


childhood singing

an excellent teaching tool,

now, you remember


joining with others-

the tunes get inter-woven,

melodiousness


you can be a star-

but then, you already are!

a light melody


your radiance shines

through the stages of your tunes;

and gains momentum


the timbre and tone

weave in contrast and texture,

a personal note


unencumbered now,

joining Angelic choir

your spirit flies free!

If you will notice, the second stanza is 5-7-7-5.
I utilized poetic license to so so, as I could not separate those concepts.
