Countdown to Aversion (5-4-3-2-1) writing prompt entry

Writing Prompt You are to write a poem that describes your or someone-you-know's aversion to something. It can be a serious topic -- I have an aversion to spiders because I am allergic to most bites OR it can be a humorous topic -- My husband has an aversion to doing dishes OR any topic in-between. :) ;) Whatever your choice, the line/syllable count should be as follows: line 1 -- 5 syllables line 2 -- 4 syllables line 3 -- 3 syllables line 4 -- 2 syllables line 5 -- 1 syllable Make us laugh! Make us cry! Make us sigh....just make us want to vote for your entry! :) :) |
I hate walking through stores and being overwhelmed by all the things I like but do not need. I have an aversion to spending money on impulse buying.
