Like many people, I feel the closest connection to my Spiritual core when I am in the beauty of Nature. I have tried to show this with the first stanza reflecting that I am one of many in a long tradition, a child of nature and community, then the second stanza brings in my own individuality. The last stanza says that life will still go on after our mortal days. I haven't mentioned God, because he is a given, like breathing.
