Promises, Promises

I promised myself;
Tonight is the night I’ll write.
I’m such a fibber.

Delicate daughters
devour my each tic and toc.
Family comes first.

I promise myself;
Tomorrow, I’ll write something.
My fingers are crossed.

It has been one of those days where I have been torn in so many directions from the moment I got up.
I just wanted to write something substantial.... maybe tomorrow it will happen! We will see...
