Turn Back Death

by Christine C Autry

I was swelled beyond recognition. There were 12 medical students around the bed. My head was lowered to the floor. Hurting, and angry with no voice left. Toxemia and blood disease had set in. Whispering please don't hurt me anymore begging for mercy with no family to hear my cries. Believing I was going to die and the baby too. They took long large needles and stuck them in my neck over and over. Starting to pass out, when I heard Linda angrily bursting through the door. You better get a doctor up here now! They are killing her.
