Death of My Father and my Brother

Why Did You Go

by Christine C Autry

When he came to call you home, why did you go? Was he glorious in all his ways? Was it too much for you to stay? Was his light around him so bright? In his arms he held you forever tight. Why did you go? I just want to know. I want to hold you here, but your spirit says no, my dear. You say You are not alone, that you have found a Eternal home. Why did you go? Don't you love me? I just don't understand why you took his hand. Did he set you free? Why did you go? I think I know. No more burdens, no more pains, no more feeling you are locked in Chains. We become forever one, with our spirits that live on and on. Thank you my love for all the memories. They are whispers in my heart that will always be.
