There it was lying dormant
in the cesspool I call my purse
a crumbled dollar and a sticky tic tac
waiting, they had been immersed.

I put the dollar in my piggy bank
for later and the tic tac in my mouth
Oh my goodness, it was tainted
smelled my own breath and fainted.
