Believing the myth

Tanka (childhood wishes)

by Sugarray77

In childhood I learned
nothing is impossible
dandelion wishes
was all it took to settle
questions and set things to rights

When I was a child, we were told to hold a dandelion puff and wish for something, then blow really hard on the flower and for all of the seeds that you blew away, you would get a wish granted for each one. I believed it... oh, that life were that simple today!!
