Backyard sanctuary

Pleasure

Pleasure is a spacious backyard
When I walk out my back door
Into a peaceful garden sanctuary
 
Relax on my flexible recliner
Breathe air laden with a heavenly
Mix of wafting lilac bushes and
Pyramid-shaped Fraser fir trees
 
At present time, I am observing a
Female worker bee lowering her dipper to
Suck nectar from a purple coneflower when
full she will wing her way back to her hive
 
I’m thankful for Mother Nature and
My opportunity to enjoy her work
