Kisses through the years

Your kisses

by Blue Hendrix

When our lips met that first time,
I was sold, you were mine.
We came together as one with that kiss,
head in the clouds, heart full of bliss.

You set my soul on fire.
Filling my being with burning desire.
Now ten years later,
It's a feeling much greater.

Some think it would get old,
but your kisses are worth treasures untold.
The more times we melt together with kisses,
the more I thank God that I'm your missus.

From the beginning you stole my emotions,
It didn't take spells or even love potions.
Just your soft lips pressed against mine,
caused goosebumps all the way down my spine.

Even if your miles away,
I cant wait, not one more day.
I would drive hundreds of miles,
Just to kiss those lips attached to that smile.

In the past when we've had a fight,
one kiss from you and I see the light.
You know i can't resist enjoying that mouth.
It makes my brain useless and my heart go south.

one innocent embrace,
I'm a goner, a basket case.
The thought of someone else getting your loving,
I'm ready to fight, I'm pushing and shoving.

I'm hoping we never have to cross that bridge.
I'm a lover not a fighter, not even a smidge.
Please just keep on loving me and holding me tight.
If you keep those kisses coming, I know we'll be alright.
