Wishing You Joy

Wishing You Joy

Just because it's Christmas,
and because of who you are,
I wanted you to know that I
am wishing on a star--

the one that shines so brightly
in the heavens Christmas night.
The kinship you all show me
is what makes the world seem right

in spite of any trials and troubles
seen throughout the year.
Yes, friends like you epitomize
Christ's love, and Christmas cheer.

I'm wishing all the joy and blessings
human hearts can hold
are yours this special time of year,
and 'til we all grow old.

I'm praying for your happiness --
prosperity and good health too,
and hoping that when I'm asleep
my dreams are filled with you.
