I believe that though
We all don't have the same start,
We can even things out
If we open our minds
And hearts in acceptance and generosity.

I believe that violence would
Not abound around the world
If we would treat everyone
With respect and kindness.
We can't be blind to bullying any more.

I believe if each of us followed
The tenets taught in their faith
Bigotry would become extinct.
Layers of love
Would erase all reasons for war


I believe ridding
The world of
Malevolent martyrdom
And grabbing greed
Will help harbor lasting peace
