If Only I Could Get

If only I could get
this heavy door open
it would be interesting to see
what's been stuffed
in the room behind it
Supposedly not bought, but all free

I know there will be shoes,
clothing in all sizes
and lots and lots of children's toys
Odd looking items
that I won't be able to identify
What should I expect, hidden by boys

If I lean into the door
and push with my shoulder
my legs can join in, they're strong
I push and push
and with each push a grunt
I hesitate, just in case I'm wrong

No! There's no way my thoughts
have misplaced so many items
especially my new set of keys
Once and for all
I need to satisfy my curiosity
Can anyone help get this door open, please
