Exceptional

Bridge of Life

There is a bridge
Through the center
Of life
That separates the young
From the old.

The water on one side reflects
Your lush brains
And strong limbs
Gained from
Storms braved
Early in life.

The other side
Is the autumn
Of existence.
Everything changes
Colors with the
Light of wisdom
Hope and faith
Knowing that
Every ending
Is a new beginning
