A reflecton in a mirror

Who's That?

by Roxanna Andrews

I stand before my polished mirror and what do I see?
Someone else, because I'm absolutely certain that's not me!

I stop, I gasp! I cannot help but stare,
Who is this person that I see with all white hair?

And I hate to be indelicate, but one can plainly see,
She is what some might call, well, slightly pudgy.

I cannot guess as to her age, she hasn't any wrinkles
But, when she grimaces, her eyes have corner crinkles.

I believe she may be wandering, perhaps she is lost,
But how dare she enter other's mirrors, the owners to accost.

She wanders, scaring innocent folk, without a single care!
I want my old reflection back, skinny and dark haired.

So go back where you belong, I'm sure your owner misses you,
and don't come back here again or I may just have to sue!

My reflection always scares me. I have tired suing, but like me, it has no money.
