New year celebration surprise
Happy Birthday Patty
by patcelaw
The year was 1964. New Year Eve, I had gone to a party. I'd promised to be home before midnight to see the new year in with my husband who was not feeling well. He had chosen to stay home with our daughters Penny and Pamela.
I lost track of time and did not make it home by midnight. Wayne was a bit upset with me, so we had slight argument. But as was our practice we settled things before going to bed. It was then that we celebrated and I conceived a child, who was born on September 14, 1964. We chose to name her Patricia Ann.
I was not happy with being pregnant so soon with my youngest child at the time was less than 6 months old, but God knew in His wisdom that we needed another delightful light in our lives.
Here we are on September 14, 2018 and find it is time again to wish her a special day.
Happy Birthday Patty!
I love you. Mom
