To Be or Not To Be a Stand Out

I wish to write with panache and flair,
But find myself in disrepair.

I want to stand out from the crowd,
I want my work to shout out loud:

"Hey! I'm here! Please read me!
Just one look and you'll see,

All the important info I wish to convey."
But of course, I've got nothing today!

Here I sit, my brain's come to a halt.
If there's nothing to write, is that my fault?

Why did I take this stupid job?
I'm such a brainless, hopeless slob!

Hey! The bank just got robbed!
Man, I really love this job!
