My Hearts Desire

Friendship on Fire

I'm not looking for a fantasy or a knight in shining armor
I crave something more than fancy words and glamor.

My heart is under lock and key,
and so is my...Virginity.
I'm not the type that can be bought
So forget it, if that is what you thought.

Unless true love is what you seek,
I suggest you listen before you speak.
I'm looking for a lover and a friend
who will be there in the end.

Someone I can talk to
when the skies are not so blue
Who can help me see the best in me
even when we disagree.
I know it may sound crazy
But winning my heart is pretty easy.

I'm not looking for a fairytale; Prince Charming's not for me.
All I want is friendship, love, and loyalty.
