If we could rid the world of depression it would be great.

Depression be gone

by Blue Hendrix

Depression is a razor sharp knife ready to cut out your heart in an instant.
You never know when it will strike and if you fight back it's more resistant.
If we could take depression and all the emotional baggage it carries.
And, get rid of it completely, I would be the most greatest beneficiary.

Always hurting, with sorrow, sadness, and feeling like your guts are being shredded.
Who knows with all that negativity gone where my life would be headed.
Not wanting to sleep for days upon days head tucked under the covers.
Wow, I'd have so much free time to do something worthwhile and have so many things to discover.

I'd meet new people and not feel self-conscious or like I didn't belong.
Instead I could be my normal happy self, having the life I was meant all along.
So without even a slight pause, there is not a question.
I would love to take all the sadness and loneliness out of this world, caused by the evils of depression.
