Why bother whining and complaining? Get Happy!

Whine? Complain? Not this Chick!

by A. Willow Bends

Call it what you will, I'll say, "Whine"
I need to not complain when things are FINE
Sometimes I only do it in my head
because I know some things are better left unsaid

Complaining is a habit I must break
I need to search for good and from that take
the higher road toward good attitude
making sure I stray away from rude

For complainers and whiners are a bore
No one wants to hear me when I'm sore
AND I like upbeat folks myself
so I'm setting all my whining on the the shelf

If I need at times to pull it down
and feel it causing me to frown
I'll lock it in a cupboard and throw away the key
I'll be a kinder, sweeter, gentler ME!

Choose an emotion that you would like dispose of and describe it. Any form of poetry will do. And please keep it clean.

I really am NOT a constant complainer, but tend to learn for the bright side and I am SO not a whiner, but a little bit of me wants to occasionally! Don't we all?
