A colorful vase leans to one side

Leaning Flowered Vase

by Pamusart

With roses and calla lilies galore,
the leaning old vase contains a lot more
Forget-me-not blue inhabits the vase
with cone looking flowers drooping in place
The lone yellow flower's looking real new;
was picked in the garden covered with dew
This daffodil peeks behind larger friends
whose daisy like petals guard till the end
The vase is bedecked with blossoms of pink
The cherries will grow before you can blink
The vase is not perfect; leans to the side
This slight imperfection shouts far and wide
Attention is captured; minds start to think
It's hard to be noticed when not unique

I think of the great art that has slight imperfections that draw attention to the piece. The imperfect smile Mona Lisa and many paintings by Van Gogh have this feature as well. Do Johnny Cash and Joe Cocker have perfect voices? No. But they are unique.
