You always remember the way that first love felt.

First love never dies.

by Blue Hendrix

My First Love really opened my eyes.
From the moment I saw him and felt those butterflies.
He was fishing down by the lake
I knew right away my heart was at stake.

We were inseparable All Summer Long.
Got my first boyfriend, first kiss, and we had a love song.
The nights spent sneaking out of our parents campsites.
Sitting down by the water under the moonlight.

Hoping we might choose tonight to Skinny Dip.
Praying this would be the never-ending camping trip.
The first time I ever felt so connected to another soul.
My heart, my body, my mind he stole.

Shaking knees, words won't come out right.
But being around him was sheer Delight.
When the time came to say that tearful goodbye.
All I could do is stand there and cry.

Best summer ever up to this day.
I will never forget my first love I wish those feelings could stay.
No love in your life time can compare to the first.
If only time could just be reversed.
