My opinion about what makes a monster!

Are we monsters?

by Blue Hendrix

Monsters have boils and warts on their nose.
But, so does my Uncle Joe I suppose.
Monsters have hair in places it's not meant to grow.
As does the cashier at the Stop & Go.

A monster is a scary being from beyond I surmise.
Or it could be a guy dressed in a frightening disguise.
Monsters roar loudly and howl at the moon.
Kinda like your ex-boyfriend singing you a tune.

Monsters tear things to shred with their claws.
But, so do men so I must pause.
What's the difference between the two species?
Is it that humans can drive Mitsubishis?

Maybe it's that monsters can kill on a whim.
Well what about Ted Bundy ever heard of him?
So let's not rush to condemn.
Monsters are like us no matter how we describe them.

I could keep stating fact upon fact.
And, write papers with theories, Stacks and stacks.
That prove the simple truth without fight or fuss.
There is no difference between monsters and us.
