In this piece, I tried to create an effect of the painting gradually emerging out of an artist's imagination, brushstroke by brushstroke, capturing this moment of raindrops on flower petals. It's somewhat an exploration of the idea of creating music in language by using repetition of phrases and words rather than rhyme, and the imagery is very deliberately sensual, almost oriental. estory
