Getting out of the maze

Maze

by Pamusart

I look at my life and ponder my fate
I wonder if I can find the right gate
Some gates will stay open; others stay locked
I think I'm in jail, my spirit's been shocked
I search for escape, and look for a sign
To help me to claim the life I designed
It may not be right, this fear that I feel
I'm just so afraid I'm not even real

I walk through the maze to find my way out
No one can hear me, so I start to shout
A stranger appears and helps me relate
He guides my old spirit to a blue gate
The powder blue gate now opens with ease
I now have been freed from pain and disease.
There's nothing but peace, as if in a dream.
My battered old body's run out of steam

Won't have to return to all of my strife.
I'm out of the maze that people call life

Each life is a maze where we have to choose a direction at different times in life.

There is only one way out of the maze
