As time passes by, and the further we
are from the last shooting, the more
complacent we become.
Now we have another shooting, we
are now wondering where this killer
came from.

Each time we have another shooting
more of our kids are found dead.
We start all over with the crazy comments
like we forgot what we once said.

The headlines in the newspaper, are
just like they were before.
When are we going to be serious about
the shootings and finally say, no more?

We are just standing by and allowing
our kids to be shot to death.
We are one of the richest countries
but we act like we have no wealth.

Our children are our future, what are
we going to do.
We must change the gun laws NOW,
everyone knows this is true!
