Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
No one can do it for you.

An uphill climb.

Love's graveled path with multiple traps
Hinders me from the very start--
A chain of trust with a broken clasp
Is knotted round your broken heart;

Deception hides its ugly head
Beneath sheets on your empty bed--
The memory of love gone wrong,
Plays lyrics lost in fading song;

The essence of a once damaged soul
Struggles with the courage to rise-
Beyond the depths of the blackest hole
Where it may seek its own demise;

The likelihood of love's success
Relies now in the truth undressed,
Decision dwells not in my realm--
For you alone are at the helm.
