PPPSSTT....In case you haven't noticed or
lingered long enough to catch the view
bodacious Spring is in dress rehearsal
flinging open her closest of colors galore
eagerly garden is changing its clothes
putting away dark winter sweaters, suits
and dull shawls, scarves and soggy hat
and with last gust of wind and sigh
hides away that drab grey sky overcoat

Smiling, sighing in swings of beguiling sways
sprouts up in slinky, bold green shoots
slips on a jaunty flowered blouse for each day
pulls on skirts of daffodil and primrose
snow drop socks and purple crocus shoes
enticingly dancing beneath the flirting sunlight

At night she demurely draws reposing shades
retires to her moonlight parlor of starry laces
peeks through her wardrobe in bemused elation
no lack of choices or chances for surprising debuts
precious few months to perfect style and class
like any lady, she still ponders and wonders
'Oh, what on earth, shall I wear tomorrow?"
