April NaPoWriMo Challenge

April NaPoWriMo Challenge
 
There was movement in FanStory land
for the word had passed around,
that the April Na Po Challenge month would end.
So all the tough contenders, submitted their last one
along with all the others they had penned.
 
Oh what delight it is to write
and then have others read,
your work that’s so original they’ll find.
Prose or lovely metered rhyme, created by a pen
just from thoughts arising from your mind.
 
I love a challenge any time
Contests that make me think,
perhaps I’ll pit my brain against the best.
To then come up with many words, just free or with good rhyme
win or lose to play the game's the test.
 
Writing poetry for me each day
has been a lot of fun,
although some times I’ve really dragged my feet.
But having now caught up it’s time, to post a couple more
tomorrow’s one this challenge will complete.
 
Then rest a while I think I will
just give my muse a break,
Invite her back to write just once a week.
My purse strings also need a tug, my outlay has been high
a daily post promotion is not cheap.
 
So now I’ll close and say “Thank you”
for reviews and all support,
the feedback and assistance has been great.

who for this challenge did participate.

Hi everyone well the NaPoWriMo April Challenge is nearing an end and this is my second last one for the month. I wrote this today 29/4/2018 Australian Time and will post now

The meter for my poem is loosly base on My favourite Australian poet Banjo Patteson who wrote The Man from Snowy River a famous Aussie poem
