Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted
accepting change

Transformation

by mermaids

we were together for so long
a brightly colored pair
but the dryer ate my
partner so fair

a sock weeps in silence
in a drawer full of underwear
my threads quiver in silence
alone I am

forever as one, so I believe
but the day arrives
out of the layers of briefs
I ascend, a transformation

a soft, monkey, a smile
on his face
my beloved is his body
I am his arms
we connect again
a creature creation
soft, inviting
my destiny

Recognized


I was looking at all of the " one socks" I have in my drawer and thought they deserved a poem. I also collect sock monkeys and thought it would be interesting if they transformed into one.
