Pockmarked Face

by Pamusart

Sweaty, pockmarked face
That shines when the light hits right
Love you, my brother

3 Line Poetry Contest contest entry

I do not care how my brother looks. I love him for his inner beauty. My brother really does not have this problem. He has some other things, though. The only reason to think about it at all is because of the way people with physical issues (too fat, big butt, too skinny, acne, bad or missing teeth, birthmark, just to name a few) are treated by cruel people.

â??Judge a man by the content of his character not by the color of his skinâ?? â??â??. Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This applies to any external or visible physical characteristic. Color of skin is just one.

Thank you for reading my poem.
